May God bless and keep you always

May your wishes all come true

May you always do for others

And let others do for you

May you build a ladder to the stars

And climb on every rung

May you stay forever young

Forever young, forever young

May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous

May you grow up to be true

May you always know the truth

And see the lights surrounding you

May you always be courageous

Stand upright and be strong

May you stay forever young

Forever young, forever young

May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy

May your feet always be swift

May you have a strong foundation

When the winds of changes shift

May your heart always be joyful

And may your song always be sung

May you stay forever young

Forever young, forever young

May you stay forever young.

-Bob Dylan

Sometimes the most important things to frame your life around are much much simpler than we make them out to be.  And perhaps our most valiant efforts could be just to remind ourselves frequently of the things that bring our souls the most joy.  For the first time in a long time the other night, I didn’t dread the coming Monday.  Granted, Im in the midst of one of those pleasant, in between sort of seasons that allows a little extra comfort.  But that feeling of NOT dreading Monday feels like something worth clinging to and fighting to maintain.  It gives fuel and drive to the next phase of my visions.

If nothing else, it is a pleasant reminder of how a bad season can lead seamlessly into a beautiful and peaceful one. Nothing is ever permanent. Winds of change blow fast and strong, and they usually bring some lovely surprises.
